The Latvian Member Committee of the World Energy Council (WEC LMC) is a non- governmental organization that includes twelve Latvia’s leading energy industry enterprises, scientific and research establishments and universities as its full members.
Originally created on December 11, 1924, under the name of The Latvian Power Union, it had been an active participant of all energy industry development and policy coining initiatives till mid 1940, when this organization was liquidated.
